Though he will likely make many changes from the side who did play in Europe such as Rio Ferdinand and obviously Rooney, Hernandez and Ashley Young will start.

Meanwhile for Chelsea, Didier Drogba is still out but apart from goalkeepers Hilario and Ross Turnbull carrying knocks, there are no new injuries to report. Experienced John Terry and Frank Lampard will return.
